Outdoor lighting fails for two boring reasons: the wrong IP rating and too many strings chained together.
Both are avoidable if the numbers are stated clearly, so every listing here carries the IP rating and the maximum connectable run. We started after a set of "outdoor" lights failed in the first monsoon — they were indoor-rated and nobody had said so.
Prices are quoted in rupees, complete: cross ₹1,499 and carriage is ours, otherwise ₹49.
